The Port-A-Slip process

  1. Help us learn about your vessel…Complete a Porta Slip data sheet, referencing drive train e.g. shaft drive vs. stern drive, approx. weight, flybridge vs. sedan…

  2. We ask you, the customer where the vessel is moored and delivery address/suburb.

  3. We ask you, the customer whom will be delivering the boat to the mutually agreed boat ramp and signing delivery docket/invoice at the final location. Together we agree on a slipping time and location. Slipping time depends upon the tide and ramp condition, Porta Slip have a database of boat ramps up & down the NSW coast with a continual update of its usability status.

  4. If the above questions and answers are suitable to both the customer and Porta Slip, then a diary note will be entered and a confirmation phone call will be made the day before also informing customer that all over height components e.g. radar, aerials etc preferably should be removed whilst the vessel is still on the water (OH&S issue once vessel is loaded onto trailer).

  5. Upon delivery to the customers location, balance of transport costs and 1 weeks cradle hire is payable.

Yes, its that easy to have all the issues address and the  PortaSlip process in place?
